THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER ORGANIZATION…
THIS is an ecosystem.
InBlk Subsidiary was created to take the vision of I Am Me beyond a single platform, event, or initiative and turn it into something much bigger:
A place where ideas can become businesses.
Where creativity can become opportunity.
Where passion can become purpose.
Where people can become leaders.
This is Inblk Subsidiary. And we’re just getting started.
I Am Me, Inc. is the brainchild of Pierrce “Peach” McCoy. Founded as a community-focused organization created around the belief “Every person deserved the freedom to embrace who they are, discover their worth, and have the opportunity to thrive,” I Am Me (www.iammecorp.org) exists to empower individuals through community, advocacy, education, connection, and opportunity. InBlk began as a webcast to give BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community members a voice and a platform.
SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS INBLK SUBSIDIARY?
Great question! InBlk Subsidiary is the growth and opportunity arm of the InBlk vision – creating a space for LGBTQIA+ voices have a place to build ventures, programs, businesses, partnerships, events, and initiatives that align with our commitment to community, inclusion, empowerment, entrepreneurships, creativity, and economic opportunity.
In plain English…we’re building a place where the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community will not only belong, but also lead without preservation or hesitation. In other words, a community where we can education EVERYONE about what WE experience and WISH YOU WOULD question us about the walk we endure!
THE INBLK PHILOSOPHY
At the heart of InBlk is a simply belief: I am me. You are you. And there is room for all of us to thrive.
We believe individuality should be celebrated – not suppressed.
We believe communities should have access to opportunity for EVERYONE – not just inspiration.
We believe ALL entrepreneurs should have platforms.
We believe ALL creatives should have spaces.
We believe that NO MATTER YOUR GENDER, SEXUALITY, or COLOR – everyone should have the same resources to be able to utilize their identity, gifts, talents, experiences, and ambitions are not limitations – but sources of strength.
SO, WHAT’S NEXT?
The introduction of InBlk Subsidiary is only the beginning. As this new chapter develops, expect to see new ventures, partnerships, programming, events, and opportunities emerge under the InBlk umbrella.
Some will be entrepreneurial. Some will be educational. Some will be cultural. Some will be community-centered. And some may be things we haven’t even imagined yet.
Our InBlk Webcast will be entering into Season 3. Our Executive Producer, Pierrce “Peach” McCoy welcomes back Zae, Dre, Kailani, and Donna to the microphone as we take on topics that give perspectives from the Black LGBTQIA+ prospective. The InBlk Mental Health Fair and Rainbow Prom will both make their debuts Spring 2027. The Mental Health Fair will give our community resources and first hand experiences to release, revive, and refresh through talk sessions, vendors, and breakouts that are guaranteed to enhance the mind and soul. Our Rainbow Prom will introduce pageantry to prom and allow our LGBTQIA youth to be exactly WHO THEY ARE!
We are also introducing the InBlk Expo Fall 2027 to Wilmington, Delaware. The Expo is planned to be “ESSENCE FEST MEETS WORLD PRIDE” and will bring entertainment, live podcasts, lectures, and more to the First State in a way that ONLY InBlk can do!
InBlk Subsidiary represents I Am Me, Inc.’s next step toward creating something bigger than ourselves. Led by Dr. Andre Harris (Chairperson), Xavier Black (Vice Chairperson), and Champagne Gray (Treasurer) and joined by Jay Johnson, Keiara Broomer, M.Ed., Kee Sierra-Paynter, and Rakeem Coleman, InBlk Subsidiary will maintain it’s vision to building a future where LGBTQIA+ BIPOC don’t have to apologize for who they are in order to have a seat at the table. And if that seat continues to not include an invitation, WE will build our own table.
