LGBTQ+ INBLK Is Back September 15: Real Conversations, Real Perspectives, Our Community

The wait is almost over. I Am Me Inc’s LGBTQ+ INBLK is officially returning Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 8 PM, bringing back the conversations, opinions, education, and sometimes uncomfortable discussions that make the platform what it is.

INBLK was created to give members of the LGBTQ+ community a space to talk about what is happening around us from our perspectives. Whether we are discussing relationships, identity, politics, entertainment, Black culture, transgender experiences, current events, or everyday situations affecting LGBTQ+ people, INBLK is about putting different voices at the table.

And one thing you can expect from INBLK is that everybody at the table is not always going to agree.

That is part of the point.

LGBTQ+ people are not a monolith. We come from different backgrounds, generations, identities, experiences, and belief systems. Creating community does not mean everyone has to think alike. Sometimes growth happens when we hear a perspective that challenges our own.

Why INBLK Matters: In Their Own Words

For returning panelist Donna, a lesbian woman and member of the INBLK family, the webcast is about more than simply having another livestream to watch. It is an opportunity to learn, stay informed, and hear how other people within the LGBTQ+ community see the world.

Her statement speaks directly to the purpose behind INBLK. There is value in hearing the news, but there is also value in asking, “What does this mean for us?”

For Kailani Abbott, Straight, INBLK is important because education and awareness should reach people across different communities, backgrounds, and economic circumstances.

“The webcast is important because it offers anyone and everyone from different social and economical backgrounds the opportunity to be educated and informed about issues and concerns surrounding the LGBT community.”

Kailani’s perspective represents an important part of what INBLK is about: making LGBTQIA+ conversations accessible to people who may not otherwise have an opportunity to hear them. As a transgender woman, her presence also helps ensure transgender experiences and perspectives are represented at the table rather than discussed without transgender people being part of the conversation. INBLK creates space for people to learn directly from individuals who live these experiences while recognizing that no single person can speak for an entire community.

For Dr. Andre Harris, aka Dre, INBLK carries an additional responsibility: making sure the experiences of Black LGBTQIA+ people are represented, discussed, and understood.

And that question gets directly to the heart of INBLK.

Our stories cannot always be left for someone else to tell. Black LGBTQIA+ people exist at the intersection of communities, cultures, identities, and experiences that are not always fully represented in mainstream conversations. INBLK provides a platform where we can speak about those experiences ourselves.

For panelist Xavier Black, the impact of INBLK is also personal.

Sometimes that is exactly what community is supposed to do. A safe social space should not only give people information. It should give people an opportunity to think, question, grow, speak, and know that their voice matters.

Peach: Why I Believe INBLK Matters

For Peirrce “Peach” M., host and producer of INBLK and Director of I Am Me Inc, the importance of the series is deeply personal. As a pansexual person, Peach understands what it feels like to consume media without regularly seeing your own identity, relationships, or lifestyle represented.

“INBLK is important because the show amplifies the voices of multiple people with different identities and orientations. Rarely have I watched a show that reflected my own personal identity as a pansexual person or showed my lifestyle. I’m excited to have produced multiple seasons, and I’m glad this idea was voted in by myself and the Board of I Am Me Inc. INBLK the series has also paved the way for the INBLK subsidiary. I can’t wait to see where the show takes us.”

Peach’s words bring the story of INBLK full circle. Representation was never supposed to mean showing only one version of LGBTQIA+ life. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, nonbinary, queer, questioning, and other identities can have very different experiences even while belonging to the larger LGBTQIA+ community.

INBLK creates room for those differences.

What began as an idea supported by Peach and the Board of I Am Me Inc has grown through multiple seasons and has helped pave the way for something even bigger: the INBLK subsidiary, expanding the work beyond the webcast and creating additional opportunities to connect, educate, and serve communities.

The show is part of the history. Now we're building on it.

Different People. Different Experiences. One Table.

Donna speaks to education and different LGBTQ+ perspectives.

Kailani speaks to education, inclusion, and the importance of transgender voices being present in conversations affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Dre speaks to the importance of Black LGBTQIA+ people educating others and telling our own stories.

Xavier reminds us of something just as powerful: having a space where your own mind can grow and your voice can be heard.

And Peach speaks to representation, ownership of our stories, and creating the kind of media that many of us rarely had the opportunity to see growing up.

Together, those perspectives explain exactly why INBLK exists.

INBLK isn't about creating an echo chamber where everybody agrees. Our panelists represent different sexual orientations, gender identities, backgrounds, generations, opinions, and life experiences.

Sometimes we agree. Sometimes we disagree. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes the conversation gets uncomfortable. And sometimes somebody says something that makes the entire panel stop and think.

That's INBLK.

From a Webcast to Something Bigger

At I Am Me Inc, we believe community building can happen both in person and online. Digital platforms allow us to reach people beyond one city, one state, or one social circle. INBLK gives Black LGBTQIA+ people and the larger LGBTQIA+ community an opportunity to participate in conversations about ourselves instead of constantly allowing other people to define those conversations for us.

And the evolution of INBLK shows what can happen when an idea is given room to grow.

From multiple seasons of conversations to helping inspire the development of the INBLK subsidiary, what started on screen is becoming part of a larger effort to create spaces centered around the needs, experiences, voices, and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people of color.

We want to inform, educate, create dialogue, amplify Black LGBTQIA+ voices, bring different perspectives together, and provide spaces where people can be heard without pretending we all think the same.

Our perspectives matter. Our experiences matter. Our voices matter.

And if we don't create spaces to educate people about our communities, tell our stories, and have our conversations, who will?
