I AM ME Inc. Holiday Gala will eventually become a Weekend Event

The I AM ME Inc. Holiday Gala is returning, and with the support of our community, we hope it will grow into something even bigger.
As I AM ME Inc. continues to evolve, so does our vision for bringing our community together. Our goal is to bring back the I AM ME Inc. Holiday Gala and eventually expand the celebration into an entire I AM ME Inc. Holiday Weekend in 2027 or 2028.
When that expansion happens will depend greatly on community support, sponsorships, partnerships, fundraising, and organizational participation.
We have the vision. Now we are working to build the support necessary to make it happen.
From a Holiday Gala to a Holiday Weekend
The I AM ME Inc. Holiday Gala has always been about more than dressing up and having a good time. It is an opportunity for our community, allies, supporters, organizations, friends, and families to come together in celebration.
Our long-term vision is to turn that celebration into a two-night Holiday Weekend experience.
The first night would feature an Awards Dinner dedicated specifically to recognizing individuals making meaningful contributions within our communities. The dinner would provide nominees and honorees with their own moment to be celebrated, surrounded by their friends, families, colleagues, and supporters.
The second night would be our signature themed Holiday Gala, featuring a live band, music, dancing, a variety of entertainment, networking, and an opportunity for our community to simply celebrate together.
Separating the Awards Dinner from the Gala would allow us to create two completely different experiences while giving our honorees the recognition they deserve.
Will It Happen in 2027 or 2028? Our Community Will Help Decide.
We would love to introduce the complete I AM ME Inc. Holiday Weekend in 2027. However, we also understand that creating a quality experience requires funding, planning, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and community participation.
If the necessary support is not in place for 2027, we will continue building toward 2028.
We would rather take the time to create an experience our community can be proud of than rush the process.
That is why community support matters.

We are also looking for organizations, nonprofits, businesses, corporations, community groups, and potential sponsors interested in helping us develop this experience.
Partnership can take many forms. Organizations may support through sponsorship, financial contributions, promotion, resources, entertainment, volunteers, collaborative programming, or simply helping us introduce the event to new communities.
We don't want the Holiday Weekend to exist in isolation. We want it to become a celebration where organizations and communities can come together.

The complete vision may arrive in 2027 or 2028, but building it starts now.
Official dates, locations, themes, award information, entertainment, sponsorship opportunities, and ticket details will be announced as plans develop.
We also encourage supporters to join the I AM ME Inc. mailing list to stay in tune with announcements and opportunities to participate.
Our goal is bigger than hosting another event.
We want to build a tradition.
A tradition of recognizing people who make a difference.
A tradition of bringing LGBTQIA+ communities and allies together.
A tradition of celebrating with our families, friends, organizations, and supporters.
And eventually, a tradition known as the I AM ME Inc. Holiday Weekend.
