Walking into a biased or homophobic conversation—whether at work, home, or in public—can be overwhelming. As an ally, you may feel frustrated or unsure how to respond in the moment. Here are practical steps to help you navigate and diffuse these situations effectively and safely.



Remember: Being an ally doesn’t mean always having the perfect words. It means doing your best to stand up for respect, inclusion, and dignity—whenever and however you can.
